IPAK Accepted as Participant in the 8(a) Business Development Program

Camden, NJ – IPAK, Inc., a printing, packaging and value added 3PL provider, is proud to announce its acceptance to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development program. This certification opens new doors for the company and positions IPAK for continued growth and success in the federal contracting arena.

“The SBA’s 8(a) certification is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our dedication to providing top-notch services and products to our clients,” says CEO Karen Primak. “While IPAK has been operating in the federal market as a subcontractor since 2016, our admission into the 8(a) Program allows us to receive sole-sourced contracts, enter into joint ventures with our clients, and compete in 8(a) set-asides.”

Contracting Officers are encouraged to use the regulations authorized under 48 CFR 19 to sole-source opportunities where the anticipated value does not exceed $4.5 million (or $7 million for manufacturing contracts) to 8(a) companies, which has become a quick and efficient procurement tool that helps the federal government in meeting their 12% SDB spend goal.

IPAK is a certified 8(a), HUBZone, Disability-Owned and WOSB that manufactures, warehouses, kits, and distributes marketing and educational products in highly regulated industries. Coupled with value-added 3PL and supply chain services, IPAK’s integrated approach facilitates innovation, lowers the total cost of ownership, and increases speed to market.
