‘Made in NJ’ Manufacturer of the Year was awarded to IPAK

The ‘Made in NJ’ Manufacturer of the Year was awarded to IPAK, a packaging and fulfillment company based in Camden, NJ. Out of nearly 10,000 manufacturers in NJ, IPAK was selected for their stand-out achievement, workforce development and community involvement. NJMEP spearheads New Jersey’s celebration of our nation’s annual Manufacturing Day, which is a chance to honor the 700,000 plus manufacturing businesses across the United States and show students, parents, and the public what modern manufacturing is all about.

A 29-year-old company, IPAK manufactures, warehouses, kits, and distributes sales, marketing, and educational tools for clients in highly regulated industries.

It began operations as a manufacturer of non-book products for publishers. Today, the company continues to serve this industry with a wide variety of products including in-classroom learning kits, textbook online access sets, assessment printing, fulfillment and distribution, and has entered other highly regulated sectors by evolving its offerings to include multimedia formats, new technologies and inventory management services.

“Manufacturing is revitalizing our nation”, says Karen Primak, IPAK CEO, “and this award is a recognition of the outstanding IPAK team, its loyal customers and top-notch suppliers who are truly making an impact. Our value proposition goes well beyond meeting regulatory compliance, customer specifications and a competitive price. We pride ourselves on addressing qualitative concerns that customers bring to the purchase process, including risk reduction, reputational assurance, and ease of doing business.”
